As a platform, we are committed to ensuring that all products offered through our website are safe for consumers. This is a legal requirement under the General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988, GPSR), which applies to both physical and digital products.
What we do as a platform #
- Our platform is registered as an online marketplace in accordance with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988).
- We maintain a product safety contact point (safety@stitchonomy.nl) for consumers and authorities.
- We provide a clear Notice & Action procedure, allowing safety issues to be reported and addressed quickly.
- We will investigate any reported safety concerns and, if necessary, remove or suspend listings until the issue is resolved.
- We cooperate fully with market surveillance authorities and ensure timely responses to their requests.
What you must do as a seller #
To list your products on our platform, you agree to the following obligations:
- Digital files
- Upload only flat PDF files (no embedded scripts, no executables).
- Scan your files with up-to-date antivirus software before submission.
- Include a short safety notice in your file or description (e.g., “For adult use only. Use scissors/needles with care”).
- Physical products
- Ensure your products are safe for normal use and free of defects.
- Provide clear usage instructions and warnings where necessary (for example when sharp tools or small parts are included).
- Cooperation with safety actions
- If a safety issue is reported with your product, you must respond promptly to our requests for information.
- You agree to cooperate with product recalls, corrections, or withdrawals if required by us or by authorities.
