Resolution Center

Stitchonomy is more than just a platform. For legal and tax purposes, we act as the seller of record. This means that when a customer buys a digital pattern from our shop, the sale is made directly between Stitchonomy and the customer — not between the customer and the vendor.

What this means for vendors #

  • You do not sell directly to the customer
  • Stitchonomy sets the final product price, collects payment, and handles customer service
  • We calculate and pay your commission based on the price of each sale
  • You do not need to send invoices to customers or collect VAT

This model keeps things simple and consistent for both customers and vendors.

Why this matters #

Because we are the seller of record:

  • We issue the official invoice
  • We collect and handle VAT (when applicable)
  • We manage customer questions or refund requests
  • You receive a clean commission payout for each sale

You remain the creator and copyright holder of your designs, but you do not act as the retailer on Stitchonomy.
